RISOTTO - A cookery demonstration & three course Italian feast at Spike Island Cafe.
Postponed from 24th March. This evening we look at one of the most simple and versatile ingredients - that is transformed into food of the gods unravelled before your eyes.
Included in the menu will be asparagus and St George's mushrooms because they will be in season. Rhubarb will still be here.
The evening will start with a demonstration, followed by a 3-course meal to include:
- Risotto alla Milanese (or something with asparagus/St. George's mushrooms for those who don't eat meat)
- Pannacotta with poached pink rhubarb
