The More Than A Meal Appeal

This month, Square Food celebrates 10 years of tackling food poverty and teaching people to cook healthy food from our home in Knowle West.

Over a decade, we’ve taught more than 10,000 adults and children to cook.

To mark this milestone, we’re launching our More Than A Meal appeal to raise £20,000 - enough to teach a further 1000 adults and children to cook in 2022.

The appeal starts at 9am, Thursday 2nd December and runs for 10 days, until Sunday 12th December.

Thanks to match-funding from our major donors including Nick Campsie and our friends at Burges Salmon, the first £5,500 donations will be DOUBLED.

That means you give £10, and we get £20, at no extra cost to you!

For thousands of families in Bristol, food insecurity is a real threat. Square Food tackles this problem at its root - by teaching people cooking skills, supporting them to become more confident in the kitchen and equipping them with the knowledge they need to access and prepare good food.
