A sociable cooking group for adults with few or no qualifications or with a learning disability/mental health problem. We will focus on cooking delicious food from scratch, and learning about healthy eating principles.

Cooking Connections - Next Steps
A sociable cooking group for adults with learning disabilities or mental health issues. Suitable for those who have begun to develop an interest in food and try out their kitchen skills. However, it may be possible to attend these sessions even if you have not done our 'Beginnings' programme: just call us to have a chat about your requirements. We will also be thinking about healthy eating principles. We may also be able to include some work experience in a cafe environment during this programme.
What to expect: An opportunity to practise and develop useful kitchen techniques, cook interesting dishes, improve personal and social skills and explore progression pathways into further courses or the workplace.
