BTec Home Cooking Skills Levels 1 & 2

BTec Home Cooking Skills Levels 1 & 2

Both levels of the BTec Home Cooking Skills course are practical, skills-focused and require minimal paperwork. Over one academic year, we teach young people valuable life skills that will support them to cook and eat well for life. 

Details:   

Suitable for groups of up to 10 students

Qualified, experienced staff

Professional teaching kitchen

Hands on cooking each week (typically 2.5 hour session)

Toolkit for independent living – budgeting, healthy food, cooking for others

Building confidence through an engaging activity

All ingredients, prep, tuition supplied

BTEC Level 1 or 2 (Guided Learning Hours required 40/60hrs)

Based in a community setting
