School partnerships
Our work with schools includes cookery classes, enrichment, talks and more
At Square Food Foundation, we believe food is a foundation for life – that’s why we work closely with schools across the Bristol area to deliver food education where it really matters.
For those working in primary or secondary education, we can offer:
Teaching staff to provide regular cooking classes
One-off workshops and enrichment activities
School assembly talks and outreach programmes
Courses that deliver a BTEC accreditation
All our teachers are DBS checked and are highly experienced in adapting their lessons to different age ranges and educational needs. Classes are most often paid-for or subsidised, but we do occasionally have funding available – we’re open to all conversations, so please do get in touch below.
No kitchen? No problem!
If your school doesn’t have its own facilities, students are welcome to come and learn at our fully equipped cookery school in Knowle West, South Bristol. Alternatively, we can bring our own portable equipment to you and adjust our programmes accordingly – you’d be surprised what spaces can work!
